1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an OWLO account or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Agreement and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Eligibility

To use OWLO services, you must meet the minimum age requirements established by applicable local laws and regulations. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and are legally permitted to operate an electric scooter.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date account information. You are also responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

4. Scooter Rental and Usage

OWLO provides access to shared electric scooters through its mobile application. Users may locate, unlock, ride, and end rides using the OWLO platform. The scooter remains the property of OWLO at all times.

Users agree to operate scooters responsibly and in accordance with all traffic laws, safety requirements, and operational guidelines provided by OWLO.

5. Rider Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Ride safely and responsibly.
• Follow all local traffic laws and regulations.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment where required or recommended.
• Inspect the scooter before use.
• Report any damage, malfunction, or safety concern immediately.
• Use scooters only within designated service areas.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Allow unauthorized individuals to use their account.
• Operate a scooter while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Use scooters for racing, stunts, competitions, or unlawful activities.
• Modify, tamper with, or damage OWLO scooters or equipment.
• Operate scooters outside approved service areas.
• Use scooters in a manner that endangers themselves, pedestrians, or other road users.

7. Parking Requirements

At the end of each ride, users must park scooters responsibly in approved parking locations and ensure they do not obstruct sidewalks, entrances, accessibility ramps, emergency exits, roads, or pedestrian pathways.

Users may be required to submit a parking photo through the OWLO application before completing a ride.

8. Fees and Payments

Users agree to pay all applicable ride fees, service charges, taxes, penalties, and other charges associated with the use of OWLO services.

Pricing information is displayed within the OWLO application and may be updated periodically without prior notice.

9. Damage, Loss, and Liability

Users are responsible for any damage, loss, theft, misuse, or unauthorized use of scooters occurring during their rental period.

OWLO reserves the right to recover repair, replacement, retrieval, administrative, and related costs arising from user misconduct, negligence, or violation of this Agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

Use of OWLO services involves inherent risks associated with operating electric scooters.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OWLO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of its services.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

OWLO processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the collection, use, and processing of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Suspension and Termination

OWLO reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate user accounts at its sole discretion if users violate this Agreement, engage in fraudulent activity, misuse services, or fail to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

13. Changes to This Agreement

OWLO may update or modify this Agreement at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website and mobile application. Continued use of OWLO services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising under or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Qatar.
