These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OWLO Mobility website, mobile application, electric scooters, and related services ("Services"). By creating an account, accessing our platform, or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. About OWLO Mobility

OWLO Mobility is operated by Invenza Trading and Services, a company registered in the State of Qatar. OWLO provides shared electric scooter services through its website and mobile application.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an OWLO account, renting a scooter, or using any OWLO service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To use OWLO services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Create a valid OWLO account.
  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Have a valid payment method linked to your account.
  • Be physically capable of safely operating an electric scooter.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and ensuring that all information provided during registration remains accurate and up to date.

You may not share your account with any other person or allow another individual to use a scooter rented through your account.

5. Scooter Reservations and Rentals

Scooters may only be rented through the OWLO mobile application and are subject to availability within designated service areas.

A rental begins when a scooter is unlocked through the OWLO app and continues until the ride is properly ended according to OWLO parking requirements.

6. Rider Responsibilities

You agree to operate OWLO scooters safely and responsibly at all times.

While using an OWLO scooter, you must:

  • Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ride with care and consideration for pedestrians and other road users.
  • Inspect the scooter before use.
  • Use the scooter only within approved service areas.
  • Report accidents, damage, or malfunctions immediately.
  • Follow all instructions provided within the OWLO app.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Operate a scooter while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Carry passengers on a scooter.
  • Use scooters for racing, stunts, competitions, or unlawful activities.
  • Modify, damage, or tamper with scooters or OWLO equipment.
  • Use a scooter for commercial transportation or delivery services.
  • Operate a scooter outside designated service areas.
  • Use mobile devices in a way that distracts from safe riding.

8. Parking Requirements

At the end of each ride, scooters must be parked responsibly in designated or approved parking locations shown in the OWLO application.

Users must not block:

  • Sidewalks
  • Building entrances
  • Accessibility ramps
  • Emergency exits
  • Roadways
  • Pedestrian pathways

OWLO may require users to submit a parking photo before ending a ride.

9. Pricing and Payments

Users agree to pay all applicable ride fees, service charges, taxes, penalties, and additional costs associated with the use of OWLO services.

Pricing is displayed within the OWLO application and may change from time to time.

10. Accidents and Damage

Any accident, collision, theft, loss, or damage involving an OWLO scooter must be reported immediately through customer support.

Users may be held responsible for damage, misuse, theft, or loss occurring during their rental period where permitted by applicable law.

11. GPS and Location Tracking

OWLO scooters are equipped with GPS technology and other monitoring systems to support scooter location, theft prevention, operational management, parking verification, and service improvement.

By using OWLO services, you acknowledge and consent to the use of such technologies.

12. Safety and Insurance

OWLO encourages all riders to wear appropriate safety equipment, including helmets where recommended or required by local regulations.

Insurance coverage, where applicable, is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant insurance provider.

13. Suspension or Termination

OWLO reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to its services if a user:

  • Violates these Terms.
  • Provides false information.
  • Fails to pay outstanding fees.
  • Engages in fraudulent, unsafe, or unlawful conduct.
  • Misuses OWLO services or equipment.

14. Limitation of Liability

The use of electric scooters involves inherent risks. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OWLO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of its services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under applicable law.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

OWLO collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in that policy.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.

Any disputes arising from or relating to OWLO services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Qatar.

17. Changes to These Terms

OWLO may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updated versions will be published on the website and mobile application. Continued use of the Services after publication of updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
